How does the "Just Sweat " program work?
Each month, Kim will program 4 weeks of her latest workout videos into your Trainerize app including full body strength training as well as core and cardio workouts. You'll get daily message reminders to complete the workout of the day. Simply open your app, click on the workout and track that you've completed it. It is a subscription based program with a 2 month minimum commitment.
Is there a specific start date? Can I sign up at any time?
Yes you can sign up at any time since the "Just Sweat" Program is ALWAYS running! If you'd like your program to start for the 1st of the month, the sign up deadline is the 25th of each month. If you sign up part way through the month, that's cool too! We will program new workouts every 4 weeks for you to keep you on your game.
I've signed up! Now what??
You can expect to hear from Kim within 24-48 hours to get your app set up and ready to go. Please note there it can take from 2-4 business days to set up your account.
How do the payments work?
All payments are done through paypal and are set up as a subscription service. You will be billed each month automatically unless you notify us otherwise. Please provide 14 days notice for cancellation. There is a 2 month minimum subscription.
What Equipment do I need?
All the workouts can be completed at home or in a gym if you prefer. If you are at home, you will need some equipment. These can be purchased at most big box stores or Specialty Fitness stores.
-dumbbells (recommend a range from 5-25lbs but this varies with each individual...don’t stress if you don’t have it all. Powerblocks are a great tool since they include a large range of weights all in one small package. No weight rack needed
-Resistance bands (I recommend 1 heavy, 1 light)
Is this a personalized program?
No but kind of. I will program my latest full body workouts and show you tons of modifications and advanced options so you can make the workout work for your body and fitness level. If you need further assistance on modifications, you can check in with me on the monthly group coaching calls. If extensive changes are needed, you can purchase a 30 minute Virtual Personal Training Session for $54 or a 60 min session for $84.
How many times a week do I need to work on your program?
I will program 3 strength/core workouts and 2 cardio each week. If you have a busier week, I recommend aiming to do 3-4 as a minimum. Life gets busy and you can choose to do more or less as your schedule changes.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts take between 20-35 minutes depending on the program for the day and how quickly you move through the exercises. They are meant to be short and sweet so you can get in, get out and get on with your day!
I will be away for some of the program. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Life doesn't stop because you've joined our program. I will provide you with Travel Ready Workouts using your bodyweight or the resistance band so you can still stay on track with your workouts while you are away. You can add these in to your schedule whenever you need to.
I haven't worked out in a long time. Is this program Ok for me to start?
Welcome back to exercise and YES of course! The workouts come with videos that explain how to do the exercises as well as modifications or even advanced options. You can start off with the beginner options and advance as your body gets stronger (and it will!!) If you're struggling with anything, you can email me any time or send a message out to the Facebook group...they are a helpful bunch.
Can I still do this program if I have a few injuries?
It depends. Most of us have a few ongoing "quirks" with our body and these can usually be accommodated. However if you have a serious injury it may not be the best fit for you. If you're not sure, send me a message and we can chat about it.
Do I have to follow a meal plan?
This program is about the workouts only however it is recommended that you eat a whole food diet (think real foods that you buy on the outside aisles of the grocery store) with a balance of protein, carbs and fats. You will see way better results in your fitness (not to mention your physique) if you do. If you need extra assistance with your meal plan, you can purchase my 6 week Clean Eating Meal Plan for $49 or purchase a coaching call to chat about your personal needs.
What if I need to move my workouts to a different day?
I am so glad you asked! The workouts can and SHOULD be moved around to accommodate your schedule. Your app gives you the freedom to move workouts to different days. The plan needs to fit YOUR life in order for you to stick with it.
